What is this campaign about?

  • The GXBank 'QR Scan-A-Thon' Campaign runs from 1 October 2025 to 31 January 2026 or until the rewards are fully redeemed.
  • Category 1: 1% cashback
    • Qualify by scanning and making in-store merchant DuitNow QR payments (via static or dynamic QR code) using the GXBank App.
    • You will earn 1% cashback for every DuitNow QR payment (minimum RM5 per transaction).
    • Cashback is capped at RM5 per customer.
  • Category 2: RM 5 cashback
    • Qualify by scanning and making at least twelve (12) in-store merchant DuitNow QR payments (via static or dynamic QR code) using the GXBank App.
    • You will earn a RM5 cashback when you perform at least twelve (12) in-store merchant DuitNow QR payments (minimum RM30 per transaction) every month.
    • Cashback is capped at RM5 per customer per month.
    • Cashback is capped at RM20 per customer throughout the campaign period.

Who is eligible?

  • Category 1: 1% cashback
    • Open to all GXBank customers with an active GX Account who never made any in-store merchant DuitNow QR payment using their GXBank App; or
    • Have not made any in-store DuitNow QR payment using their GXBank App in the past six (6) months or more
  • Category 2: RM 5 cashback
    • Open to all GXBank customers with an active GX Account who made at least one (1) in-store merchant DuitNow QR payment using their GXBank App within the last five (5) months

What is the campaign reward and how can I earn it?

  • Category 1: 1% cashback for every in-store merchant DuitNow QR payment (via static or dynamic QR code):
    • Minimum RM5 per transaction.
    • Cashback is capped at RM5 per customer.
  • Category 2: RM5 cashback when you perform at least twelve (12) in-store merchant DuitNow QR payment (via static or dynamic QR code) during each campaign month:
    • Minimum RM30 per transaction.
    • Cashback is capped at RM20 per customer throughout the campaign period.

When will I receive the reward?

  • Category 1: The 1% cashback will be credited to your GX Account instantly after each eligible transaction (in exceptional cases, it may take up to two (2) weeks for the cashback to be credited).
  • Category 2: RM5 cashback will be credited to your GX Account instantly after you perform at least twelve (12) eligible transactions (in exceptional cases, it may take up to two (2) weeks for the cashback to be credited).
